Tours

At Sandhills Artefacts, we not only sell authentic Artefacts, we also show you how they're made and about our culture.

During the tour, Michael, or one of his family members, will show you how he creates his artefacts, carvings and artworks. He will also take you for a bush walk, showing you bush medicines, animals, the beautiful Murrumbidgee River, sacred Aboriginal sites like the Birthing Rocks and Caves. If you're lucky enough, you will get to experience the taste of Michael's home cooked bush foods and a delicious meal for lunch. A tour of his workshop and gallery are also included.

Upon request, a campfire dinner can be arranged. Sitting around the warm campfire, listening to the stories Michael has to share, is truly an experience not found anywhere else. Michael's knowledge and experience of his culture is one that should be heard by all. As well as his sense of humour.
